This track was released on Nov. 10, 1971 and certified Gold by the RIAA on Mar. 4, 1972.* Remember Badfinger's Tom Evans, Pete Ham, and Mike Gibbins with this award. From Badfinger's 1971 album Straight Up, "Day After Day" became the group's biggest hit. Written and sung by Pete Ham, the song was produced by George Harrison, who also plays slide guitar on the recording.
