This vintage is mostly Valdiguie that adds a little spiciness however this wine is utterly reliable and ends with a lovely burst of rich black fruit

Rich and intensely sweet with concentrated aromas of dried fruit, fig, candied apricot and orange peel. The sweetness is balanced by a fresh acidity and a lingering, spicy finish. Great with duck liver pate, pumpkin pie but also cakes and cheese or cantucci the traditional biscotti of Tuscany.
