After forging, the blade was differentially heat treated to create a hamon. Additionally, the blade was meticulously hand sanded to 600 grit, resulting in a satin finish and a visible hamon line. The handle is crafted from both Black Ash Burl and Acient Bog Oak. The custom sheath was made from high quality vegetable tanned leather with some silkscreened doodles. Note: The patina on a
