"The Day Begins" by George Hand Wright, Amer., (1872-1951) Pastel and a very faint matEtching, ca. 1940's, ed. unknown, ca. 9 x 12, signed & titled in pencil, on warm white wove paper. Wright's take on the great theme of the farmer's departure from his family for a day's hard work in the fields.
