Butterfly 2024 Stencil Art on Elm, limited edition artwork - 14 x 18cm orange Lots of subtle textures andI didnt have to go far for inspiration for this years Spring artwork. I wanted to paint something new that represented the new season and I managed to catch this small Tortoiseshell Butterfly fluttering around the studio on video. The warm air from the wood burner and a sunny morning had caused an end to winter hibernation! You can see the butterfly and making process in my short film. The piece name is Best Friend and Im really pleased with the
