Fine Porcelain Fragonard Butter Pat / Pin Dish Vintage Besides the items having someThe item is a butter pat or pin dish manufactured between the 1930s and 1949 by Chapmans Longton Ltd. under their Royal Standard trade name. The dish has been decorated with a signed Fragonard romance scene. The dish also has gold trim and a scalloped rim. Chapmans Longton Ltd. was founded in 1916 as a subsidiary of Thomas C. Wild & Sons. In 1964 Allied English Potteries acquired The Wild Group and closed Chapmans Longton Ltd. permanently in 1966. The
