The palate opens with honey and buttered toast

with spiced black raspberry and black currant fruit and accents of green olive

The rich stone fruit flavours are nicely balanced by a brightness

but could be stored away for a couple of years

Chateau Clerc Milon, Pastourelle de Clerc Milon 2012 Demi-Sec Vintage Ports are a selectionA colour of deepest garnet in the glass. The nose is beautiful full of earthy overtones, some spice on the nose and soft black berry fruit. The palate leaps out with black berry and dark cherry upfront. Balanced with well integrated oak, freshly cut wood and fresh tobacco leaves. There are some rich tannins. Full bodied, medium high acidity. Medium length on the finish.
