Fallen Gum II Original Artworks The texture of the reefThis piece is inspired by Bangalang meaning Autumn in Wiradjuri Bangalang is Lauren's favourite time of year, watching the colours of the leaves and tree bark change as they fall away preparing for new growth and rejuvenation. She loves seeing all the new textures and markings on the trees that are brought to the surface and the stunning designs left by the moth larvae tunneling between the layers of bark.
