Domaine Drouhin Laroze, Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru 2018 Bad Brothers Fleur de sel and intriguingDeep lustrous crimson. A hint of spicy oak still. Pretty full on and ripe, with alcohol very evident. Tannins and acidity yet to fold into the very ripe, almost rude, fruit. Id prefer to reserve judgment at this price and at this stage if possible. There is sweetness on the finish, almost as though the fermentation didnt quite get to dryness. Rather drying on the end. Jancis Robinson (16)
