Plantation 5 Year Old Rum 40% 70cl Pisco Nose: Some surprising fruity notesPlantation 5 Years old 40% Vol Barbados Nose : The opening nosing round is all about baking shop fragrances, but also pipe tobacco, toasted marshmallow; secondary whiffs after further aeration discover bacon fat, black raisin, prune. Palate : Entry is bittersweet, roasted; mid palate is engagingly toasty, nearly fruity, as in baked orchard fruits, and raisins. Finishes with a nice medium to long, chocolate and fruit notes.
