The Race by Wuanita Smith, Amer., (1866-1959) Woodcut but this impWhite Line Color Woodcut, circa 1930, Ed. not stated, 9 1 2 x 7 7 8, light toning within old mat opening, the colors strong, signed, titled, annotated imp (printed by the artist), and dedicated "To Edith Rogers", in pencil, on a thick, grayish tan wove paper, full margins measuring 12 x 9. There are a few penciled framers notations at bottom margin edge. The scene is a boat race off of New Bedford, MA. Wuanita Smith mastered the white line color
