Flanagan Merlot CHEVERNY The 100% varietal Côtes duBennett Valley first became well known for making Merlot back when David Ramey was the winemaker at Matanzas Creek. The steep hillsides that are the source for their Merlot produces intense fruit with tremendous structure and concentration. The Flanagan Merlot has beautful notes of black raspberry, bergamot, and bay leaf. On the palette it is full of red currant and plum. This wine is absoulutely fabulous to drink now or age for a later drinking date.
