"The Close of Day" by Henry Farrer, (Eng., 1842-1903) Lithograph Guy MacCoy was one ofEtching, 1893, 5 x 7, as published in the 1893 New York Etching Club catalogue, The proper title and date above have now been found with thanks to DGW, printed in a warm black ink on cream laid paper, signed in the plate. A beautiful, radiant impression of this fine print by Farrer, with a subtle manipulation of the ink to articulate the fading after glow of the setting sun.
