Tatreez Charm 001 NEW 6mm thick) hoopThis pendant is made with silver I recycled in studio. After fabricating this elongated oval bevel edged charm, it was then hand engraved with over 100 cuts to imitate the stitches of a Sarwa motif a Cypress tree inspired by various versions of the design found in Tatreez (the art of Palestinian embroidery). The hand engravings are then oxidized, and combined with a satin finish for the highest contrast. Inspired by versions of the Sarwa motif
