The vase is in an unusual combination of pressed glass and crystal glass we have not seen before

It has fine lines in the glass from the glassmaker's rod and is made with a sand nail at the bottom

but this has worn off

so they are cold blasted and have had the edge heated so that it is no longer sharp

Many of the glassworks' glasses are only known from pictures in the catalog. This vase is definitely from Aarhus Glassworks it appears in the catalog from 1901 and is here called a 3 piece alliance vase. This model is also available as a 4 piece. The vase is in good condition, however, it has a few chips on each tube.
