The ball shape was first designed for the "Triennale" in Milan in 1957 and later produced in this round shape and a version with a slightly raised neck

It is beautifully polished with a sand nail at the bottom

Is a super fine piece of furniture with many lovely details - will be super good on a desk for papers due to the large bottom drawer and the two smaller ones for writing instruments

From 1908 to 1944, Royal Copenhagen produced Christmas plates with text in German, French, English and Czech. The plate has some glaze stains.
