The growing season was a return to a more traditional cycle compared to recent warmer years. A long slow ripening period allowed for excellent phenolic maturity resulting in concentrated, high quality fruit. Experts rate this vintage highly, comparing it to other strong years such as 2016 and 2010. The wines in general from
