Light of the Ring by Yukikazu Ito 90 x 65 mmIn the precincts of the Setagaya Hachimangu Shrine, there is a simple dohyo ring. Children play sumo wrestling, couples stroll by and passers by bow their heads. The author cherishes this "sacred neighborhood place", with it's symbolic eternal circle and quiet light.
