It is dead quiet when the preamp is muted and have excellent frequency response and dynamics

There were no shorts or gas. Tube One measured 60 while Tube Two measured 64 where minimum (65%) is 38 and 100% is 58. I have played them in my Radio Craftsmen RC 2 monoblocks (with adapters not included) and they sound outstanding. They are dead quiet when the CD player is muted
