The trails range in length from 1 mile to 13 miles, and they are all lavishly illustrated with over 400 colorful photographs and maps. All of the trailheads lie within 50 miles of Salt Lake City, and nearly all of them can be reached with an ordinary passenger car. The hikes include trails into the five federally designated wilderness areas near
