The major geographic features in and near the quadrangle are the Weber River, Lost Creek, and Echo Canyon drainages. Echo Canyon and Henefer Valley are major railroad and interstate highway transportation corridors. The quadrangle is geologically significant for the exposures of Late Cretaceous and early Tertiary synorogenic conglomerates
