Biek The Park City East quadrangle occupies a topographic and structural saddle between the Wasatch Range and Uinta Mountains. The quadrangle is dominated by the Keetley Volcanics, 35 million year old volcanic mudflows and lava flows that overlie much older shallow marine and continental strata that were folded and faulted during the Sevier orogeny. Volcanic rocks erupted from stratovolcanoes that once towered over the east end of the
