Silver plated tsuba signed "Kikuchi Masanaga" with Kao. He was active around late Edo and Meiji Period. This particular work was made in Meiji Period. Tsuba made of copper and plated with silver with silver fukurin. Dragon inlaid with shakudo with gold iroe eyes and teeth. Fuchikashira and kojiri made of solid silver with carved waves.
