Benjamin Leroux, Volnay Santenots Vintage:2023 Probably the longest-lived wine in(from Les Plures). Moderate reduction masks the nuance of the fruit though there is both good tension and freshness to the beautifully detailed and lightly stony medium bodied flavors that possess a seductive, even sophisticated, texture while delivering excellent persistence on the balanced though very firm finale. This is excellent and well worth considering provided you intend to allow for at least mid term cellaring.
