Following the Brunate over the course of several days was immensely rewarding
I much prefer the 2010 La Gaffelière that I tasted the week previously
leather and sublime red and black fruits
Much more modulated wood and reduction make the nose difficult to assess today
Au Bon Climat, Hildegard White Vintage:2019 plum and Indian spices50% Pinot Gris, 40% Pinot Blanc, 10% Aligot. Pale straw. Broad and welcoming on the nose with the Pinot Gris most obvious. Again, that salty note on the palate. Not desperately long. It seems as though its all on the nose at the moment.
