To install on '85 '16 bikes, remove stock spring clips on fender frame, and replace with included U nuts (included). Make sure U nuts are installed with the threads on side facing the wheel. To install '17 '22 bikes, replace stock HD knobs with safety bolts without using U Nuts. Do not thumb tighten screws. Tighten down until you hear "KLIK KLIK KLIK". Specs
