Antique Indo-Persian Kalamkari Wall Hanging french ticking Possibly made to be usedThis finely detailed block print kalamkari was made for the Persian market in India. Soft tones of madder and indigo have been used and the panel is printed onto a fine cotton that has a central join. Delicate tassels finish each end of this piece. Possibly made to be used as a tablecloth, it would look wonderful as a wall hanging, perhaps behind a bed. In good condition for its age, there are some rust marks on one area, a small repair and some holes
