The K-series sights were found in US Army Air Force bombers such as the B-17 Flying Fortress and B-24 Liberator
It appears that the lens can be removed and the upper and lower operating limit indicators can be set by sliding the triangular pointers along the scale (we have not attempted this in order to preserve the artifact)

It includes a Rest Computer (Rest meaning not flying under combat conditions) on one side and a Climb Decent Tabulator on the opposite side. these are essentially 2 disc, 7 inch circular slide rules.
